I’ve been inspired to share my photography in an online space by several friends.  Besides wanting copies for themselves, many have suggested that I share my photographs beyond Facebook and even explore selling them.  So, this is my attempt at sharing with a wider audience.  Who knows where this will bring me?

I thought that if I really do want to pursue photography more, I should think about the more artistic pictures I have taken than those that are capturing the expressive moments of the faces and figures of family and friends.

I started culling through the many many years of digital photos that I have and saw a pattern emerge…nature. I take tons of pictures of plants, animals, water, rocks, and the like.  I always feel like there is something hidden and special in the world.  I love to take photos of the natural world from interesting angles.  As my first blog post, and in honor of my favorite season, I’m posting a few of my fall themed nature photos.  I hope you enjoy them!
