“Welcome to Canvas, Crafts, & Compass – your traveling art guide to unforgettable creative experiences. We are bringing the ultimate art and craft experience directly to your door in the Capital Region and online via Zoom.
We believe that everyone has an artist within, and we are here to help you discover your creativity and talent. Our ARTfully Guided Workshops & pARTies bring you a seamless solution directly to you for corporate team building, private celebrations, and fun social gatherings. From lively painting experiences to relaxing craft workshops, we provide all the supplies you need. Our expert instruction and inspiration ensure you can relax and explore your artistic side. You and your guests will create lasting memories.
We offer a range of mediums and artistic experiences including:
- 🎨 Painting – paint & sip, plein air (outdoor) using either acrylics or watercolor
- 🖌️”Stained glass” watercolor painting
- 🌿 Botanical arts including cyanotype printing, bas relief molds, pressed flowers
- 💐 Forever flower arrangements using dried plants, handmade paper and fabric flowers/leaves, and sola wood flowers;
- 🐑 Needle felting – ornaments, pins/pendants, animals, insects, botanicals, decorative eggs
- 📜Paper crafts – flowers, leaves, cards, bookmarks, tiny books, junk journals, collage
- 👖Upcycled arts & Crafts – fabric wreaths, denim flowers, Kinusaiga (Japanese mosaic fabric art)
- 🧶Loom Knitting – pocket hearts, pumpkins, apples, botanicals, critters and creatures
- 🧱Air-dried & polymer clay – ornaments, decoupage, jewelery
- 📱 Phone photography
- ☂️🪭Special Painting Projects – parasols, fans, wine glasses, wood signs

Join me on Zoom for free Craft and Chat sessions on most Friday nights for a free, casual, and completely unstructured community craft session! Bring your current project, pour a favorite warm drink, and let’s make art together.
Note: I am fully committed to our Friday night Craft & Chat session unless a private group or venue books me for an evening event! Signing up for the Zoom Craft & Chat sessions is the best way to always know if we are on for a particular Friday night.
