Flying High in New Mexico

In early October, my family and I had the opportunity to travel to New Mexico for 9 days.  New Mexico is an amazing state with so many different geographic features and fun things to do. Of course, I took tons of pictures. I’ll post a few different selections of photos over the next few weeks.

Today’s posting is a series of photos taken from our balloon ride adventure and we took at Balloon Fiesta. Riding in a hot air balloon has been on my bucket list for a long time.  I am happy to report that I cannot only check the balloon ride off my list, but also that I can rate it as an A+++++ experience. RainbowRyders was the company with whom we flew. Our pilot and the entire experience within them, including the champagne toast and breakfast after, were nothing short of fantastic. There has never been any experience that could be simultaneously so exhilarating and calming.  It was an adventure of a lifetime.  I hope some of these photos can give you a glimpse into what we experienced.  If you can, do it!!!!!
